1. A Sold-Out Academic Success in Busan
On August 29–30, 2026, the 9th Busan Veterinary Conference at BEXCO witnessed a remarkable gathering of Asian veterinary leaders. Organized by Vetmaster, our dedicated Total Hip Replacement (THR) workshop became one of the most anticipated events of the congress, with participant slots fully booked shortly after registration opened in July.
Building on the momentum of our previous international engagements, this year’s seminar brought together top-tier expertise. We were honored to feature Dr. Zhongheng Wu, a renowned pioneer with over 1,000 successful clinical THR cases, and Dr. Dongxing Xu, an expert with over 200 successful procedures. They were joined by esteemed local leaders Dr. Sangwoo Kwak and Dr. Sungho Byun from Leaders Animal Medical Center, with translation expertly guided by Dr. Changmin Park from Konkuk University.

2. Bridging Theory and Precision Practice
The two-day intensive program was structured to elevate clinical confidence through rigorous theory and hands-on application:
- Day One commenced with Dr. Wu introducing the cutting-edge design architecture of the Vetmaster THR system. This was followed by comprehensive lectures by Dr. Kwak on surgical approaches and Dr. Byun on anatomical and radiographic diagnosis. In the afternoon session, Dr. Xu delivered an exhaustive protocol on femoral and acetabular surgical planning, emphasizing the vital role of intraoperative radiographic verification.
- Day Two focused on postoperative management and advanced geometry. Dr. Kwak presented key radiological evaluation metrics to maximize success rates, while Dr. Byun shared standardized post-op recovery protocols. The academic sessions culminated with Dr. Wu’s masterclass on “Measurement of Femoral Anteversion,” offering precision multi-angular techniques to objectively evaluate surgical outcomes.
- The Workshop: Following theoretical mastery, Dr. Dongxing Xu led an immersive surgical demonstration, breaking down subtle force-control techniques and instrument handling for immediate clinical application.

3. Media Recognition and the “Pride of Domestic Manufacturing”
During the congress, DailyVet (데일리벳), South Korea’s premier veterinary media outlet, spotlighted Vetmaster’s expanding footprint in Asia, underscoring how Chinese veterinary device innovation is reshaping standards of care across borders.

For years, Vetmaster has adhered to its core philosophy: “Research-driven clinical practice and technology-enhanced education.” From developing advanced 3D-printed porous structures and dual-mobility anti-dislocation mechanisms to establishing group standards like T/GDAAV 1011, Vetmaster has consistently broken foreign monopolies. Seeing our systems embraced by rigorous Korean practitioners proves that our technological commitment to quality is universally recognized.
4. Looking Ahead: Expanding the Boundaries of Animal Welfare
The success in Busan marks another chapter in Vetmaster’s global expansion.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all participating clinicians, speakers, and partners who made this seminar an overwhelming success. Vetmaster remains steadfast in its mission: empowering veterinarians worldwide with state-of-the-art orthopedic systems, ensuring that more animals can step into a future free from joint pain.
