The Vetmaster Femoral Component is the biomechanical centerpiece of our Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) system, designed to anatomically replicate the complex, rolling-and-sliding kinematics of the canine knee. Meticulously crafted from high-strength Cobalt-Chromium-Molybdenum (CoCrMo) alloy, the articulating surfaces undergo advanced polishing to achieve an ultra-low coefficient of friction, substantially minimizing polyethylene wear and extending the implant’s service life.
The bone-interfacing inner surface integrates our revolutionary Porous Tantalum technology. This biomimetic, highly porous trabecular structure faithfully mimics the architecture of cancellous bone, promoting rapid and robust osseointegration for stable, cementless biological fixation. By eliminating the need for bone cement, this design minimizes the risk of aseptic loosening and preserves maximum healthy bone stock for the patient.
